  • Tips for keeping your windows and doors in perfect condition:
Protect products from plaster or render splatter. Do not paint uPVC windows or doors. Wipe off any glass cleaning products which may get on the uPVC or rubber gaskets. Use care when using an acid-based brick wash or other aggressive cleaner, so as to not damage the uPVC, gasket or hardware. Clean uPVC parts using water and a mild household detergent or recommended cleaner annually. Never use paint stripper or a blowtorch near the uPVC. Ensure the windows and doors are kept free from dirt, grit and mortar.
  • Caring for your glass
Remove glass labels promptly after installation. If left in sunlight the adhesive can become harder to remove. Protect glass from concrete, cement and plaster splatter. Protect glass during acid washing, sand blasting, grouting and during waterproofing treatments of masonry. Never use scrapers, razor blades, steel wool or other metallic tools on the glass. The glass supplier is not responsible for scratches occurring during construction or cleaning. Clean glass from top to bottom of the building.  Use clean water with a solution of mild detergent, such as washing up liquid or approved glass cleaners. Do not clean the glass in direct sunlight; solutions will dry faster making glass prone to scratches. Use clean dirt-free clothes or sponges. Rinse glass quickly with plenty of clean water to remove detergents and dirt. Use a clean lint-free cloth or squeegee to dry the glass.
